Top 3 Apps to Save Money While Holiday Shopping

I'll admit it... I'm not always the most frugal girl in the world. Sometimes I'll splurge and go on a retail therapy shopping spree.  Either way, I love shopping and I love saving my money (yes, it's possible to do both!)  Therefore, I'm super thankful for these handy dandy apps that always protect an extra pretty penny from leaving my pocket.  These are especially great for the holidays!

1.) Cartwheel for Target

I love Target.   No shame, I probably visit the store once a week.  I love their clothing, home decor, grocery department (food, duh!)  the list goes on.  I find Target to usually be pretty reasonable with their prices.  However, I'm always up for a sale (the bigger the sale, the more money to save.. or um, spend!)

Every time I go to Target I open up the Cartwheel app.  The app never disappoints.  I can view all the offers at once, search for a particular product, or even scan the product already in my hand!  So far I've saved $65 thanks to this app!  They even double dip on savings and give an additional percentage off most items in their weekly ad.  I can keep going on and on about this app, but you should download it yourself and be amazing!

I'm really excited to check out the Cartwheel app on Black Friday... fingers crossed they'll double dip their Black Friday specials!  Maybe wishful thinking... but a girl can dream!

2.) RetailMeNot

Let's be honest... retail prices can be INSANE.  Sure, they may have someone's name on them, but that doesn't mean I'm going to justify spending $80 on winter gloves.  RetailMeNot is my trusty sidekick when I go to the mall.  I can search for instore coupons, and instantly save!  They tend to always have coupons for Macys, Sephora, Aeropostale and more!

You can even save with their website while shopping online.  Either way,  it's a win/win.  Save your money and slash those retail prices!

 3.) Walmart's Saving Catcher

To be honest, I'm much more of a Target girl.  But once in a while I'll wander into Walmart.  If you are a frequent shopper of Walmart, you must check out there Savings Catcher app!  I kept seeing commercials about it, and thought it was too good to be true.  Until I scanned my mom's Walmart receipt and received a notification that an item she recently bought went on sale at Rite Aid, and that we'd get that amount of money back on a store credit.

What I really love about this app is that you don't have to worry about saving at the store, you can save even after you purchased everything!

Those are my Top 3 apps to use for saving money while Christmas and holiday shopping.  What are some of your favorite apps?  Share them in the comments below!
